AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to join our geospatial team in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The role focuses on GIS analysis, mapping processes, and ArcGIS platforms within an interdisciplinary group of GIS professionals.

The candidate should have strong ArcGIS experience, SQL and Python knowledge, and excellent communication skills. This on-site position offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• A.B.S./B.A./B.S. in Geography, computer science or GIS-related environmental discipline.
• 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a master’s degree.
• Esri ArcGIS Desktop or Pro experience.
• ArcGIS tools like ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcPro; Geodatabase experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Detail oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GIS team with administration and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
• Serve as the point of contact for GIS projects/assignments.
• Maintain GIS applications, servers, layers, and feature classes for FDOT District Four offices.
• Attend requirement gathering and GIS coordination meetings.
• Define project tasks and execute on those tasks.
• Develop ArcGIS solutions using Instant Apps, Dashboards, StoryMaps, and Experience Builder.
• Write clear technical documentation to support data development work.
• Collaborate with staff to understand client GIS needs.
