Job summary

Washington Performing Arts seeks a driven Leadership and Campaign Giving Officer to advance major gifts and endowment goals. This frontline fundraiser will cultivate high-capacity donors, manage a robust portfolio, and drive campaigns with strategic donor engagement and meticulous research.

The role reports to the Director of Advancement, works acrossAnnual Fund, Endowment, and Legacy Society, and will travel for donor visits while coordinating with the President, CEO, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of fundraising experience, preferably in major gifts or endowment campaigns.
• Proven success in securing gifts at $15,000+ level.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the full gift cycle from identification to stewardship for gifts $15,000+, across Annual Fund, Endowment, and Legacy Society.
• Build and drive a personal pipeline to meet annual fundraising goals.
• Complete ~100 donor visits annually and upgrade gifts.
• Maintain accurate donor records in Tessitura and coordinate with leadership.
