Job summary

Avow Foundation Inc. in Naples, FL seeks a Senior Gifts Officer to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects for our annual and long-term fundraising goals.

The role requires strong writing and interpersonal skills, a minimum of 5 years in fundraising, and a valid Florida driver’s license. You will manage a 120-person portfolio, use Raiser's Edge NXT, and support events and communications to advance Avow's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CFRE preferred.
• Minimum 5 years fundraising/development experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license preferred.
• Familiarity with Raiser's Edge NXT and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors.
• Develop and implement donor development plans and proposals.
• Identify major gift prospects and align opportunities accordingly.
• Document activities in Raiser's Edge NXT and monitor gift entry/acknowledgment.
• Support events, newsletters, and mass communications as requested.
• Participate in budget planning and team initiatives.

*This position will serve the Lee County area.Job Summary:The Senior Gifts Officer will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects and donors in support of the overall annual and long-term fundraising goals of the organization. A minimum of 5 years fundraising/development experience. CFRE preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Florida driver’s license. CFRE preferred.Computer Skills: Knowledge of basic typing skills, data entry and word processing software. Familiarity in database software (preference given to Raiser’s Edge NXT) and general knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft office products is required.Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
