Job summary

The role emphasizes identifying prospects, cultivating relationships, and guiding donors through the full cycle from identification to stewardship, with regular travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience with at least two years of frontline fundraising.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate & foundation relations and individual fundraising.
• Strong relationship-building skills with donors, executives, and volunteers.
• Ability to translate complex priorities into donor opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of 100+ prospects and donors.
• Develop fundraising strategies, timelines, and revenue projections with leadership.
• Cultivate relationships across student engagement, history and archives, policy, and research.
• Coordinate donor meetings with domestic travel and in-person/virtual formats.
• Create compelling gift proposals and donor-facing materials with Marketing and Finance.
• Identify and qualify mid-level and major gift prospects; grow pipelines.
• Support donor events and coordinate engagement strategies across teams.
• Use AI tools responsibly to enhance prospect research and fundraising effectiveness.
