Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a skilled Geotechnical/Geosciences Project Manager to join the Georgia Earth and Environment Team in the Augusta, GA area.

You will oversee all phases of geotechnical projects, from proposals to closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in geotechnical engineering with at least 3 years in project management, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geosciences, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams to define requirements.
• Prepare and review geotechnical investigation plans and analyses.
• Oversee field investigations, site assessments, and construction monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and project engineers.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Occasional travel may be required; remote work possible with travel.
