Job summary

Esp-Associates, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Senior Project Manager/NCDOT Lead in Morrisville, NC. The role involves guiding geotechnical engineering projects for NC transportation clients and leading field evaluation and design activities.

Responsibilities include managing NC DOT contracts, business development in NC transportation markets, and mentoring staff. A PE license and 8+ years of geotechnical experience are preferred, with drug screen and driving record checks required.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• 8+ years of geotechnical experience preferred.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in all project phases: proposals, field engineering/testing, analysis, report writing, client contact.
• Manage existing NCDOT geotechnical contracts/projects.
• Develop business in NC transportation market and grow geotechnical services.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Provide mentorship to field and project management staff.
• Review plans and verify compliance with project documents.
• Develop scope and cost estimates and monitor progress and budgets.
• Provide field-related consultation and evaluations.
