Job summary

The role requires the ability to travel to job sites and Bechtel/client offices across the U.S. for varying periods, and to work independently with strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Requires field support and analytical calculations for geotechnical projects.
• Experience with design parameter development for soil/rock foundations.
• Good communication and teamwork in project environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise geotechnical investigations and field support.
• Develop geotechnical design parameters for soil/rock foundations.
• Perform bearing capacity and settlement calculations.
• Assess soil liquefaction and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on geotechnical interfaces.
