Job summary

Terracon in Georgia is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead and deliver engineering and consulting services across diverse projects. You will oversee field investigations, analysis, design development, and reporting while ensuring compliance with plans and specs.

Responsibilities include directing safety practices, maintaining quality standards, guiding complex investigations, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Minimum 8–11 years’ experience.
Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
Authorized Project Reviewer status preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure adherence to safety rules.
Continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
Provide consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
Develop understanding of project-related risk and protect the Company.
Senior level engineering professional providing technical direction for projects.
Conceptualize initial design/investigative approach for major project phases.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work with conventional practices.
Review projects requiring complex investigations and report formulations to clients.
Lead technical training and informed decision-making on technology issues.
Provide leadership of marketing, sales and business development.
Supervise less experienced engineers or technical staff on projects.
Serve as a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
