Job summary

Terracon seeks a senior engineering professional to lead safety, quality, and technical direction on diverse projects in the Great Falls area. The role involves planning, design conceptualization, and client-focused reporting with emphasis on risk management and compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 8–11 years of experience; a Master’s degree is preferred and APR status is required. A valid driver's license may be necessary for field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 8–11 years of experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Maintain continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
• Provide consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
• Develop understanding of project-related risk and company policies.
• Senior technical direction for production and completion of projects.
• Conceptualize initial design/investigative approach for major project phases.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work with conventional and complex features.
• Review projects using complex investigation techniques and write client reports.
• Lead training and provide informed decisions on technology issues.
• Provide leadership in marketing, sales and business development.
• Supervise less experienced engineers or technical staff on projects.
• Serve as a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
