Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering in Tulsa, OK seeks a Geotechnical Senior Engineer I with strong technical background to support proposals and deliverables for diverse industrial projects.

The role requires a BS/MS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) and PE registration, with 6+ years of geotechnical experience. You will collaborate with project teams, oversee subconsultants, and develop foundation and soil analyses.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical specialization.
• PE registration required or in process.
• 6+ years geotechnical engineering experience in industrial facilities (gas, LNG, chemical).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scope of work documents for geotechnical investigations and seismic studies.
• Coordinate geotechnical subconsultants and field boring locations.
• Review geotechnical and seismic reports prepared by consultants.
• Advise foundation engineers to optimize foundation solutions.
• Prepare foundation settlement, slope stability and liquefaction evaluations.
• Design retaining walls and scopes for MSE retaining walls.
• Contribute to technical proposals and client communications.
