Braun Intertec, Bloomington, MN, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our office. The role involves preparing proposals, performing geotechnical analyses, and coordinating with engineers and technicians on a range of civil and geotechnical projects.

Qualifications

• Requires PE Certification and a BS in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Experience leading engineering projects and reviewing work.
• Ability to prepare proposals and perform geotechnical analyses.
• Strong communication and client-interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute whole scopes.
• Review engineering work of others.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies.
• Make geotechnical recommendations and prepares engineering reports for senior review.
• Understand and manage the needs of clients through communications and proposal/project work.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Perform civil design calculations (grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design, etc.).
• Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians within the discipline group.
• Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes.
• Identify complex problems/possible solutions and take action to resolve.
• Manage project teams including engineering and field support personnel.
• Oversee and train Braun Intertec technical practices; mentor junior staff.
