  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients, including federal, state, local, and private sector partners.
  • Identify, pursue, and help win new business opportunities, including preparing proposals, responding to RFQs/RFPs, and participating in interviews and presentations.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through consistent communication, high‑quality service delivery, and proactive problem solving.

  • Leverage your professional network and industry presence to generate leads, support pursuits, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP

  • Develop geotechnical analyses and design recommendations for slope stability, foundations, retaining walls, and subgrade stabilization.
  • Oversee field investigations and supervise the review and preparation of geotechnical reports, boring logs, and laboratory data summaries.
  • Set and uphold technical standards to ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables through peer reviews and technical audits.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Oversee project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Direct project tasks, monitor progress, and allocate resources to ensure timely, high‑quality, and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including roadway, structural, and environmental engineers, to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader project designs.
  • Manage subcontractors and drilling crews, ensuring safety, efficiency, and data quality.
  • Track project performance metrics and prepare internal and client‑facing reports.
TEAM DEVELOPMENT AND MENTORSHIP
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing technical development and career growth.
  • Lead internal training sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
STRATEGIC CONTRIBUTIONS
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal standards, procedures, and best practices for geotechnical engineering.
  • Support leadership in identifying emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities.
  • Assist in long‑term planning and growth for Foresight’s geotechnical services.
WHO YOU ARE
  • A technically strong, client‑facing engineer who thrives on building relationships and winning new work.
  • Confident representing the firm in meetings, proposals, and industry settings.
  • Energized by expanding into new markets and growing client partnerships.
  • Driven to pair technical excellence with business development and practice growth.
