Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking Exploration Team Members to perform subsurface exploration duties using various drilling techniques. Responsibilities include operating a geotechnical drill rig, leading a drill crew, and ensuring quality standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years' experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling. Qualifications

• Minimum 5-years’ experience in geotechnical and/or environmental drilling methods.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a geotechnical drill rig to advance boreholes.
• Lead a 2 or 3 man drill crew and support their development.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Drive all forms of drilling equipment to project locations.
