Job summary

Innovate! Inc. is hiring a Database Administrator – Geospatial, SQL Server, Data Architect to manage Microsoft SQL Server, spatial SQL, and enterprise geodatabase environments for development, test, and production.

This remote, full-time role focuses on schema updates, versioning, performance tuning, and secure data management. Applicants should have 3 years of experience, a BA/BS degree, and the ability to obtain required background checks for the contract.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3 years of experience required.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. security background check and hold it for contract duration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relational databases across development, test, and production environments.
• Support schema updates, versioning, tuning, and backups.
• Publish and maintain geospatial services.
• Ensure metadata completeness and FGDC/ISO compliance.
• Handle sensitive datasets and security requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in database integration with business systems.
• Create GIS database products and document data/workflows.
