Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Senior Software Developer to innovate and optimize software for complex geospatial applications. You will work with MATLAB and Python, improving computational efficiency while preserving scientific integrity and delivering GIS-ready outputs.

The role involves AWS deployment and collaboration with cloud and scientific teams. You will tackle full-stack development across databases, APIs, and web layers, leveraging PostGIS, OpenLayers, QGIS, GeoServer, and ESRI ArcGIS data

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of geospatial software, ESRI/ArcGIS data structures.
Experience across full application stack: databases, APIs, web apps.
Cloud deployment experience (AWS).
Experience optimizing scientific code (MATLAB, Python) for performance.

Responsibilities

Develop features across database, API, and web tiers.
Optimize MATLAB/Python code for performance and scientific validity.
Develop and deploy geospatial apps using PostgreSQL/PostGIS, OpenLayers, QGIS, GeoServer.
Integrate ESRI data structures with ArcGIS Pro and ESRI bindings.
Collaborate with scientists and cloud engineers to deploy scalable software.
Build and deploy containerized apps with Docker/AWS.
Ensure software is tested and documented throughout.
