Job summary

Cintra, the highways division of Ferrovial, seeks a Senior Data Scientist in Austin to drive advanced analytics across North America and Europe. You will lead geospatial and mobility analyses, integrate external data sources, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for management.

The role requires strong Python/SQL skills, experience with Databricks or Spark, and a track record of data-driven decision support in transportation analytics. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field and strong academic background.
• 3–6 years of professional data science, geospatial or mobility analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience on Databricks or Spark.
• Experience applying machine learning and predictive modeling to business problems.
• Experience with geospatial tools (GeoPandas, PostGIS, ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Ability to translate analyses into clear business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Analytics projects to optimize traffic and revenue performance.
• Develop geospatial and mobility analyses to understand travel patterns and demand drivers.
