Job summary

Object Computing, Inc. seeks a Senior Geospatial Data Engineer to join our Xtrack Product Team.

You will design scalable geospatial data infrastructures in the cloud and shape data architecture with a focus on safety and operational efficiencies for rail industry applications. You will build and optimize ETL pipelines, API-driven services using FastAPI/Litestar/Flask, and collaborate with data scientists to deliver production-grade data solutions while mentoring junior engineers and

Qualifications

Experience in software development, data engineering, or big data roles with geospatial focus.
Experience building Python-based data pipelines and ETL processes for geospatial data.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and advanced querying.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructures for geospatial and big data applications.
Lead ETL development for ingesting, cleaning, transforming, and storing large volumes of geospatial data.
Design and interact with API-driven services to enable integration across products.
Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure secure, reliable service-to-service communication.
Translate analytics questions into production-grade data solutions and partner with data scientists.
Mentor junior data engineers and communicate technical insights to leadership.
