Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an AWS Database Software Engineer to design and deliver production-grade geospatial data solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and data integrity in a fast-moving environment.

You will work across the software lifecycle from concept to operations, leveraging AWS services, IaC, ETL pipelines, data lakes, and analytics platforms, while maintaining security practices and an emphasis on scalable, reliable architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with a cloud-first approach.
• 4+ years in enterprise data engineering with geospatial data.
• 3+ years in AWS services and cloud-native architectures (ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM).
• 3+ years IaC experience (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development on AWS.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
• Experience delivering production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree
