Job summary

NV5Geospatial seeks a Geospatial Analyst to deliver advanced geospatial analyses for DoD/Air Force missions. The role focuses on producing maps, reports, and interactive visuals, applying GEOINT methods and ensuring data quality.

The position is onsite near St. Louis, MO at Scott AFB, with potential security clearance requirements and travel up to 10%. Leadership and mentorship of junior analysts are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, Remote Sensing, or related field.
• 5+ years in geospatial analysis and product development, Senior level.
• Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, and related tech in a DoD context is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced geospatial analyses using diverse data sources and software.
• Create high-quality geospatial products (maps, charts, reports, interactive visuals).
• Conduct spatial modeling and geostatistics to extract insights from geospatial data.
• Apply GEOINT principles and DoD/Air Force regulations as appropriate.
• Lead projects, manage timelines and resources, and guide junior staff.
