Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geoscience Applications Administrator to provide advanced technical and operational support within the Geological & Geophysical department.

This role acts as a senior SME, ensuring the integrity and performance of geoscience data workflows critical to exploration and development activities. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in a similar role or 3–5+ years with a science degree, with hands-on experience in OpenWorks, Petra, Kingdom, and/or Petrel

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years as Geoscience Administrator or equivalent, or 3–5+ years with a science degree.
• Experience supporting geoscience teams in Oil & Gas.
• Hands-on with OpenWorks, Petra, Kingdom and/or Petrel Studio.
• Ability to manage geoscience data and workflows across systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level support, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise geoscience applications.
• Lead data quality control and integration of subsurface datasets across platforms.
• Deliver advanced training and create documentation to support users.
• Collaborate with leadership and IT/vendor teams on deployments and upgrades.
• Manage initiatives from planning through completion with minimal supervision.
