Job summary

Warwick Investment Group in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced Senior Geophysicist to lead seismic and subsurface interpretation across the asset lifecycle, from due diligence to field development.

You will collaborate with investments, engineering, and operations teams to evaluate drilling prospects and de-risk opportunities, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining subsurface databases. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OK.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or related earth science field (master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of oil and gas industry experience, including seismic interpretation and subsurface characterization.
  • Experience supporting drilling and completions, including well planning and geosteering.
  • Strong understanding of petroleum geology, reservoir characterization, and basin analysis.
  • Experience evaluating acquisition or divestiture opportunities, including reserves/resource assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead seismic and subsurface interpretation to identify drilling locations and evaluate prospects.
  • Support technical due diligence for oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Assist well planning and real-time geosteering for active drilling operations.
  • Integrate petrophysical data with geophysical interpretation to build models.
  • Manage relationships with seismic data vendors and contractors; oversee seismic projects.
  • Prepare and present technical findings and risk assessments to the investment committee.
  • Mentor junior geoscientists and cross-functional team members.
  • Maintain subsurface databases and interpretation workflows.
