Job summary

NACCO Natural Resources Corporation is seeking a Senior Geologist to lead the organization and interpretation of geological data and develop comprehensive geologic models. This role involves planning and overseeing drilling programs to bolster marketing initiatives and mining operations.

The ideal candidate will prepare required mineral resource disclosures and manage extensive data while working collaboratively with both internal and external teams. A relocation assistance option is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be able to serve as a Qualified Person as defined by SK-1300 and NI 43-101 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and interpreting geologic data.
• Planning and conducting drilling programs to support mining.
• Preparing maps, reports and disclosures for regulatory compliance.

Skills

Knowledge of geostatistical principals

Basic Excel competence

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience in varied commodities

Education

Minimum four-year degree in Geology

Professional Registration through ASBOG
