Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Geologist to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects in the built and natural environments. The role is based in our Dayton area operations with opportunities for office or remote work, and involvement across a diverse client base.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality, develop conceptual site models, and mentor staff while collaborating with regulators and clients to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field.
• 12+ years of project management experience.
• Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently lead project teams.
• Strong organizational and financial acumen.
• Proficient with Office 365 and project management tools.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with geologic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrate technical competence and knowledge of codes.
• Lead large, complex projects meeting objectives.
• Own cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, and financial management.
• Collaborate with project team, field teams, and safety processes.
• Communicate regularly with clients, partners, regulators.
• Coach staff to ensure high-quality delivery and reports.
• Plan site characterization programs and field investigations.
• Develop site models and assess impact on project goals.
• Plan work per safety protocols.
• Demonstrate foundational safety behaviors.
