Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. seeks a Senior Geologist to lead litho-structural mapping, guide brownfield targeting, and develop 3D geological models across multiple assets in the SSR portfolio. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to evaluate targets, integrate drilling results, and maintain data quality in GIS environments.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, Safety and stakeholder communication, with opportunities to mentor junior geologists and travel to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong background in litho-structural mapping.
• Experience with orogenic, epithermal and carlin gold systems.
• Proficient with GIS software; ArcPRO is a plus.
• Proficient with Leapfrog Geo (or equivalent 3D modelling software).
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access).
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in brownfield target evaluation across the portfolio.
• Develop and refine geological models and hypotheses using multiple datasets.
• Lead consolidation and QA/QC of geological datasets in GIS/3D platforms.
• Prepare technical interpretations and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior geologists and collaborate with geology teams.
• Lead field mapping and prospecting programs; create maps and 3D models.
• Travel extensively as required.
