Job summary

Spectrum Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated Geologist with deep environmental field experience to join a multi-faceted team in Alabama/Tennessee regions. The role requires leadership, communication skills, and a hands-on approach to site assessments and sampling.

The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Geology, 5+ years in the field, and is encouraged to pursue Professional Geologist certification; travel to Nashville area and Alabaster office may be required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in the environmental field.
• Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments experience.
• Soil and groundwater sampling experience.
• Geologic evaluations and staff training experience.
• Task/Project management and coordination skills.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as assigned.

• Lead environmental site assessment activities (Phase I/II).
• Coordinate soil and groundwater sampling programs.
• Provide geologic evaluations and reporting.
• Coach and develop assessment staff.
