Job summary

HETI is seeking a Senior Geologist/Senior Environmental Scientist/Senior Engineer with 10+ years of environmental field experience. The role is 100% remote and involves managing consulting assignments, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and guiding decision-making with agencies and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a PE or PG license, a relevant degree, and strong project management and communication skills to deliver comprehensive site investigations, remediation plans, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience conducting site investigations, remediation and third party evaluations.
• Current PE or PG license.
• Solid understanding of environmental regulations.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of sampling techniques and laboratory analysis methods.
• Experience collaborating with regulatory agencies and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead client management and provide regular project updates.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers, geologists, and technicians.
• Prepare and submit site investigation and risk assessment reports.
• Design and oversee remediation strategies.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permits and closures.
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance throughout projects.
