Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Senior GEOINT Scientist to support NASIC/NSIC missions, analyzing active and passive sensor data (SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal IR) to develop intelligence products and technical reports. The role emphasizes exploitation, algorithm support, and training materials.

The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a STEM degree, and 10+ years in geospatial intelligence.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Imagery Science, Mathematics, Engineering, CS, Data Science, etc.).
• 10+ years of experience in geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, imagery analysis, or related field.
• Strong technical writing, briefing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced GEOINT tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data and produce intelligence products.
• Perform non-literal exploitation of active and passive sensor data (SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal infrared).
• Integrate exploitation results with contextual research and EO literal analysis to provide intelligence assessments.
• Analyze complex datasets using engineering principles and physics-based approaches.
• Develop and improve processes, methodologies, and workflows for GEOINT exploitation.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of analytical products prior to dissemination.
• Support algorithm development and automation through scripting and software-based solutions.
• Produce intelligence reports, technical papers, briefings, and training materials.
• Complete required security, network, and sensor discipline training.
