Job summary

NV5 is seeking an experienced Senior GEOINT Scientist to support NASIC and NSIC operations and R&D. The role covers acquisition, processing, modeling, analysis, and dissemination of GEOINT from active and passive EO sensors, SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, and thermal infrared data.

The successful candidate will develop intelligence products, reports, algorithms, and training materials to support national security objectives, within NV5 Geospatial. Employment requires eligibility for U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline such as Physics, Chemistry, Imagery Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, imagery analysis, or related technical field.
• Strong technical writing, briefing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced GEOINT tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data and produce intelligence products.
• Perform non-literal exploitation of active and passive sensor data including SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, and thermal infrared imagery.
• Integrate exploitation results with contextual research and EO literal analysis for meaningful intelligence assessments.
• Analyze complex datasets using engineering principles and physics-based approaches.
• Develop and improve processes and workflows to support GEOINT exploitation.
