Job summary

SAIC is seeking a GEOINT Ground AMTI Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support the NRO GED program. You will analyze new concepts, define baselines for capabilities, and advise on system engineering aspects including CONOPs, interfaces, and schedules.

You will collaborate with government staff, monitor software development, and test readiness activities while coordinating with SB-AMTI teams to ensure mission value and traceability across architecture and ICDs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
• 3+ years in GEOINT systems including space and ground architecture.
• Experience with IC/DoD system acquisition and program management.
• Strong GEOINT engineering knowledge related to Airborne Battle Management.
• Experience developing or supporting GEOINT processing capabilities.
• Understanding of C2 and battlespace management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with contractors, government staff, and customers on systems engineering for GEOINT collection and mission processing.
• Oversee software development and integration activities to align with requirements.
• Support engineering analyses for core mission processing services across the lifecycle.
• Plan mission architecture through trade studies, future architecture, and schedules.
• Assess performance, cost, schedule, and risk impacts on ground architectures.
• Review vendor proposals and technical documentation.
• Coordinate activities with Thread Lead and SB-AMTI teams.
• Act as SB-AMTI Thread advocate and derive traceable requirements.
• Define SB-AMTI Solution Epics and functional outlines.
• Design, develop, and implement test plans for ground systems.
