Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Ground Architecture Engineer to provide onsite systems engineering and SETA services at the NRO in Chantilly, VA. You will support planning, development, and implementation of ground architecture capabilities, coordinating with government stakeholders, contractors, and mission partners to ensure alignment with mission needs and program objectives.

You will translate capability needs into actionable requirements, support acquisition inputs, and participate in concept through

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience.
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Poly active.
Experience with NRO satellite systems is preferred.
Ability to coordinate across government, contractors, and partners.

Responsibilities

Support planning, development, and enhancement of mission ground architecture capabilities.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical efforts with operational needs.
Translate capability needs into actionable requirements and acquisition inputs.
Support contraction, design reviews, and milestone reviews through execution.
Collaborate across organizations to keep requirements aligned throughout the program lifecycle.
Review CDLR deliverables for content and accuracy to meet requirements.
Monitor contractor progress and coordinate issue resolution.
Contribute technical insight on ground architecture and system integration.
Develop briefings and acquisition documentation for leadership updates.
