Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation is seeking a Contractor Program Manager to lead GEODSS O&M for the 15th Space Surveillance Squadron. The role oversees three detachments, ensures mission readiness, and reports to Government PM, CO, and COR, with clear accountability for performance.

Candidates must hold a TS clearance with SCI access, US citizenship, and at least 10 years of DoD contract leadership, including mission operations. Travel to Socorro NM and Diego Garcia may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
• U.S. Citizenship and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, management, or related field, plus 10 years combined DoD contract experience.
• Experience as accountable program or site manager on a firm-fixed-price Government services contract with performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the contractor’s single point of authority for GEODSS O&M across all three detachments.
• Own the program Management Plan — organizational structure, lines of authority, manning levels, and training approach.
• Direct the three Site Managers and program leads for system administration, environmental, maintenance, and logistics.
• Maintain staffing continuity: keep vacancies under 60 days and update org charts promptly.
• Drive performance against contract objectives—monthly tasking metrics, sensor availability of 99%+, and zero security incidents.
• Represent the program at weekly IPT, status meetings, and program reviews.
• Lead contract transition, phase-in, and budget inputs; prepare unfunded requirement justifications.
• Maintain the program’s cybersecurity and CMMC compliance posture.
