Job summary

Power Plus is seeking Generator Service Technicians to maintain, diagnose, repair and test 5 kW to 4000 kW generators while delivering best-in-class service to customers. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, technical schooling and the ability to work varied shifts with travel as needed.

We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary with overtime and on-call pay. Certifications such as Journeyman Electrician are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel generators and related systems.
• Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kW–4000kW generator systems.
• Interact with customers and document service actions.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
