Job summary

PowerToFly is looking for a Generator Engineer III in Belle Isle, Florida. This role involves troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and electrical testing of generators and auxiliary equipment, requiring strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities. The position also necessitates regular domestic and international travel to support maintenance activities and customer meetings.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. A deep knowledge of air-cooled and hydrogen-cooled generators is essential, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in generator testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of large air-cooled and hydrogen-cooled generators.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance for generators.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical testing.
• Supervise technicians during inspections.
