Job summary

The Intersect Group seeks an AI & Java Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise applications that leverage Generative AI and modern Java technologies. You will work on scalable, production-ready solutions that solve real business problems.

In this role you will develop AI-powered applications with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices; integrate LLMs, RAG, and AI agents; design REST APIs; and collaborate across multiple teams while deploying cloud-native apps on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Java development.
• Hands-on experience building AI or Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, integrations, and enterprise security.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Build and integrate Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
• Design and develop REST APIs and backend services.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems and business workflows.
• Collaborate with business, product, architecture, security, and engineering teams.
• Deploy and support cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevSecOps best practices.
