Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Irving, TX seeks an experienced AI/ML leader to drive large-scale AI efforts and lead production-grade AI applications. You will design, prototype, train, and deploy Generative AI models, with a focus on scalable, robust systems and mature MLOps practices on container platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.

The role requires 6+ years of Python and AI experience, familiarity with transformers and LLMs, and strong data engineering and collaboration with architects

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML leadership and development.
• Strong Python skills and AI-focused libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
• Solid ML/DL understanding with transformers, CNNs, RNNs.
• Hands-on Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI frameworks experience.
• Experience handling large datasets and preprocessing pipelines.
• Familiarity with MLOps, containerization (Docker) and deployment on OpenShift/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Execute and drive large-scale AI initiatives and lead medium/large projects.
• Design, build, and prototype Generative/Agentic AI applications rapidly.
• Implement, train, and fine-tune ML/DL models for business problems.
• Develop scalable AI/ML production code and systems.
• Engineer data pipelines for training and inference quality.
• Apply MLOps practices to deploy on OpenShift with monitoring and reliability.
• Research latest AI trends and lead proof-of-concept integrations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and PMs to translate requirements.
