Job summary

VY Systems is seeking an experienced Generative AI Architect to own and lead the enterprise AI strategy in New York City. You will design, implement, and govern end-to-end generative AI platforms, RAG pipelines, and intelligent automation with a focus on performance, security, and governance for mission-critical systems.

You will work across executive stakeholders, data science squads, software engineers, and product teams in an Agile environment, delivering scalable AI solutions using OpenAI,

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10+ years in software engineering, ML, and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs & deep learning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end enterprise generative AI architecture and governance.
• Design and deploy RAG pipelines, semantic search, and vector storage.
• Fine-tune and deploy foundational LLMs for enterprise use cases.
• Establish MLOps, model evaluation, and prompt management workflows.
• Ensure security, data privacy, and governance alignment.
• Collaborate with executives, data science, and product teams.
• Optimize latency and token costs for production AI workloads.
• Document architecture blueprints and runbooks thoroughly.
