Lagasse Branch Bell + Kinkead LLP in San Francisco seeks a Senior Associate Attorney with 7+ years of general liability and/or professional liability defense to join our expanding Bay Area team. You will lead complex matters, act as a primary client contact, and mentor junior attorneys while contributing to our growth and partnership trajectory.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active member of the California Bar in good standing.
• 7+ years of general liability and/or professional liability litigation experience.
• Strong ability to manage cases independently with sound judgment.
• Proven success in motion practice, mediation, arbitration, or trial.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior attorneys preferred.
• Familiarity with Bay Area courts preferred.
• Interest in business development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute case strategy with minimal oversight.
• Serve as primary client contact and provide ongoing strategic counsel.
• Take and defend depositions, including experts.
• Handle court appearances, motions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Draft and review substantive motions, pleadings, and case materials.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and case management.
