Job summary

Victra, the largest Verizon Authorized Retailer in the United States, is seeking a Senior General Manager in Fort Myers. You will lead the store team, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence while modeling the Victra guest experience.

You will recruit and mentor the Assistant General Manager, deliver training, and own the day-to-day performance. This hourly leadership role offers a path to real career growth within a national retail network.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Proven track record of achieving team and individual sales goals
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high-performing team
• Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in retail or sales
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak periods
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Own the hiring process for your store: interview, select, and bring in the best talent — treat recruiting as core to this role, not an afterthought squeezed in between shifts
• Support, coach, and mentor sales associates to achieve store goals
• Teach and model the sales process with Every Guest, Every Time
• Provide ongoing sales training and support to help the team exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives
• Attend required manager trainings, roundtables, and group sessions to keep growing as a leader yourself
• Take ownership for store and employee success, including work-related needs
• Ensure employees meet monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time
• Support proper staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and other store functions
• Maintain store performance by supporting inventory compliance
• Keep score daily — review store and personal metrics every day rather than waiting for the monthly review
• Reinforce the standard Victra Greet across your store — introduce yourself, get the guest's name, and ask what brings them in — every guest, every time
• Assist with guest escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with sales promotions and ensure guests receive complete solutions for their needs
• Assist in attracting and retaining top-caliber employees
• Build relationships with fellow General Managers and Assistant General Managers across the district to share what's working
• Help implement sales tools and initiatives as they roll out
• Create and implement innovative ways to drive traffic to the store and capitalize on the existing customer base
• Participate in special projects and pilots as assigned
• Engage in sales strategy development to showcase products and services throughout the store
• Act as a brand advocate for Victra
• Communicate company objectives and priorities to team members

You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision by directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will be driving for high-performance results within a fast-paced sales environment, focusing on optimizing customer and employee experience, and acting as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager. You will also complete training courses and attend weekly sales leadership calls. This is an hourly role.

Compensation

We are proud our Senior General Manager's earn a base pay of $23.00 per hour with a targeted #All_In pay of $37.76 per hour, combining a base hourly rate, uncapped commission, and a monthly store bonus based on your store's attainment level. Add in frequent contests and incentives throughout the year, and top performers have real, uncapped earning potential that stacks up against any hourly leadership role in wireless retail.
