Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Senior General Maintenance Worker at AMERICA'S PRODUCT HQ. You will be a problem-solver and safety promoter, performing maintenance and repairs across a range of skilled areas while prioritizing safe, efficient service.

This is a full-time position with diverse shifts and benefits. You will work in a team-oriented environment, bringing 1+ year of related experience and holding the appropriate license/certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in multiple skill areas (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, vehicle servicing).
• Change light bulbs, install dispensers, change filters and locks, perform small decorative maintenance.
• May train and coordinate General Maintenance Apprentices and Workers.
• Attend shifts on time and carry out assigned duties as required.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $25.00 per hour - $35.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Senior General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• May train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices and General Maintenance Workers
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related experience preferred
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
