Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior General Maintenance Worker in Cincinnati, OH, for overnight shifts at ThermoFisher Scientific. This full-time role covers a broad range of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and carpentry to electrical work, with safety and reliability as top priorities.

You will train and coordinate General Maintenance Apprentices and Workers, perform routine duties (changing light bulbs, filters, locks) and handle tasks not requiring licensed trades.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of related experience preferred
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing
• Change light bulbs, install paper dispenser units, change filters, change locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices and General Maintenance Workers
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
