Job summary

A financial services company located in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support vital General Ledger and Accounts Payable functions. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with standards. This role is full-time and requires at least 3 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree. The salary range is $60,000 to $80,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with fixed asset and construction-in-progress accounting preferred.
• Experience with Accounts Payable processes preferred.
• CPA license or candidacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations.
• Perform monthly variance analyses on income statements and balance sheets.
• Manage all aspects of fixed assets, including subsidiary ERP modules.
• Prepare consolidated and consolidating financial statements.
• Support AP operations and assist with external audit requests.
