Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 4+ years progressive accounting experience with strong GL background.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and GL accounting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Proven ability to prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and support timely financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including recurring and adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Analyze account balances to identify trends and variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to research transactions and resolve questions.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and participate in special projects.
