Job summary

The AGC will lead a team of lawyers handling legislation, final decisions, sealing orders, and rulemaking tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the New York State Bar.
• At least 4 years of legal experience after admission, including 18 months in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee legislation affecting DCWP, including reviewing bills, preparing for hearings, and drafting local/state bills.
• Manage final decisions for DCWP, including drafting complex decisions from OATH Trials Division.
• Supervise sealing authority and draft sealing orders, improving interdivision workflows.
