Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to serve as the SME for generative AI, focusing on designing and optimizing GenAI-based solutions with Bedrock. You will collaborate with global GenAI architects, data scientists, and solution architects to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive AWS AI platform adoption.

You will lead development of white papers, reference implementations, and field enablement content, translating customer feedback into actionable product

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software, cloud, or related tech domains.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience leading the architecture and development of GenAI systems and platforms.
• Experience with architecting AI systems with LLMs and custom models; model customization/fine-tuning.
• Experience with Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including training/inference lifecycles, and optimization; PyTorch experience.
• 3+ years of end-to-end technical architecture, design, deployment and operations for Generative AI/ML platforms and applications.
• Proficient with prompt engineering, function calling, agentic workflows, embedding model fine tuning and retrieval methods.

Responsibilities

• Thought Leadership – Evangelize AWS GenAI services and share best practices through forums, blogs, white papers, reference architectures and public-speaking events.
• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and guide engagements.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Bedrock service teams; provide feedback for product improvements.
• Develop and support an internal community of ML subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to integrate GenAI solutions into architectures.
• Customer Advisor – implement and deploy state-of-the-art ML algorithms; build prototypes and PoCs; engage with customers and academia.
