Job summary

Guidewire Software is seeking a software engineer to design and deliver GenAI-enabled services for our core P&C platform. You will build scalable microservices and MCP-based interfaces, integrating models from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, and ensuring secure, compliant multi-tenant operation.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to align ML components with enterprise security and performance standards, while advancing context-aware reasoning and tool orchestration in a hybrid-work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML and backend platform development.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript with strong debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks and GenAI design patterns (RAG, ReAct).
• Experience building or integrating MCP servers to manage tools, context, and state across LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs powering AI capabilities.
• Develop Generative AI pipelines using frameworks like LangChain and MCP-based integrations.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate models from providers (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Design and deploy ML models for predictive insights and automated decisions.
• Define MCP interfaces for safe model-tool interactions and ensure security standards.
