Amazon Luna is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our GenAI & Strategic Initiatives team. You will build agents and AI-powered solutions across Engineering, MarTech, and Business Planning to transform how teams work.

You will design and operate infrastructure supporting proprietary and third‑party models, collaborating cross‑functionally to drive AI adoption, improve productivity, and deliver scalable, enterprise‑grade systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Experience shipping GenAI-powered features at scale with AI trust considerations.

Responsibilities

Drive platform architecture decisions and translate model requirements into scalable capabilities.
Lead internal GenAI adoption and evangelization across internal teams.
Launch cross-functional agentic workflows with domain experts.
Evaluate and optimize performance with caching, request optimization, and monitoring.
Partner with game developers and platform teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Build and operate high-scale API infrastructure using AWS providers like Bedrock and SageMaker.
