Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Manager, Product Management – Enterprise Data & AI Platforms to define and deliver the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Ally’s GenAI, ML, and data platform. You will own developer-facing capabilities, governance, and cost metrics while partnering with engineering and leadership.

You should bring 10+ years in product management and hands-on ML/GenAI, plus 5+ years leading enterprise platform products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined product management and hands-on ML, GenAI, or data/AI engineering experience.
• 5+ years owning developer-facing, platform, or internal PaaS products with versioned APIs and SLA contracts.
• 3+ years hands-on ML/GenAI delivery experience; shipped AI systems.
• Experience delivering GenAI and ML platform roadmaps and governance.
• Familiarity with AI stack like Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI.
• Strong Agile leadership and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent communication to engineering and executives.
• Preferred: banking, insurer, or health-payer AI platform exposure.

Responsibilities

• Define and publish a rolling multi-quarter platform roadmap.
• Own versioning, SLA, deprecation for each product.
• Lead intake and prioritization of workload requests into platform features.
• Collaborate with FinOps and Model Platform on unit economics.
• Represent EDA Platforms in governance forums.
• Package recurring workload patterns into reusable products and ensure cost-to-serve telemetry.
