Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers to join the AI and Infrastructure team, building scalable systems and GenAI solutions across our platforms. You will work on distributed computing, model deployment, and core AI capabilities that support billions of users.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5 years of Python or C++ experience, 3 years in ML infrastructure, and 3 years in software testing or launching products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years programming in Python or C++.
• 3 years ML infrastructure experience (deployment/evaluation).
• 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts (LLMs, vision).

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices; ensure code quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content; adapt content to product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve impacting hardware, network, or service operations.
• Design and implement GenAI solutions, leverage ML infrastructure, and evaluate tradeoffs between techniques.
