Job summary

Luxoft Germany seeks a Full Stack Engineer with GenAI hands-on experience to join a team building AI-powered applications for a major US insurance provider. Responsibilities span React/Next.js frontends, Python/FastAPI backends, and MCP servers on Azure.

You will deliver end-to-end features, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply prompt engineering and AI models. The role combines front-end richness with solid backend and cloud deployment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js with Hooks, SSR/ISR and API Routes.
• Backend experience in Python with FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience building MCP servers with FastMCP.
• Practical experience creating AI agents and GenAI features in applications.
• Azure deployment and cloud experience.
• REST/GraphQL API design and integration.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and modern build tools.
• Git proficiency and familiarity with microservices architectures.
• English (B2+) to communicate with US-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive UIs with React.js and Next.js, using Hooks, SSR/ISR and API Routes.
• Develop GenAI features like AI assistants, chat interfaces and agent-driven workflows.
• Design and develop Python backend services with FastAPI.
• Build MCP servers using FastMCP to expose enterprise data to AI agents.
• Integrate LLMs and AI models with prompt engineering and tool calls.
• Design REST and GraphQL APIs between frontend, backend and AI services.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data modeling and access.
• Write automated tests with Jest, Pytest, and Cypress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in code reviews.
