OhioX is seeking a Senior GenAI Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Generative AI applications for enterprise use. The role is 100% remote in the United States and requires 6+ years of Python experience with ML/GenAI deployment.

You will drive GenAI platform development, cloud-native solutions on Azure, and full-stack contributions while mentoring peers and staying ahead of AI trends. Strong collaboration and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Python development experience including deploying ML/GenAI apps.
• 2+ years building and deploying AI/ML solutions in Azure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and libraries such as PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy.
• Experience with Azure App Service, Functions, Databases, AI services, and Search.
• Experience with LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or Meta in chatbots, RAG systems, and agents.
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalents.

Experience: 6+ years of professional Python development experience, including deploying Machine Learning or Generative AI applications.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python developer with a passion for Generative AI and hands-on expertise in cloud development. As a Senior GenAI Developer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable GenAI applications that redefine how professional services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• GenAI Development: Build a platform to support enterprise GenAI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) and state-of-the-art frameworks.

• Cloud Development: Design and implement robust, cloud-native solutions, preferably on Azure.

• Full-Stack Contribution: Drive development from concept to deployment, ensuring seamless integration across back-end and front-end components.

• Model Optimization: Fine-tune LLMs, enhance data retrieval from structured/unstructured sources, and optimize prompt engineering and agent plans.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including domain experts and product managers, to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

• Mentorship: Guide and support junior developers to foster technical growth within the team.

• Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI and GenAI to continuously elevate our technical capabilities.
